Nice work so far Funknath, I look forward to reading more. Bangladesh are no easy beats and if Iqbal, Shakib, Ashrafluke and Mashrafe are able to fire then I'm sure it will be a very close contest.

I'm predicting India will score 130-150

77/2 is not that bad a score half way through the innings. I feel with Raina, Rohit & Dhoni to come Yuvraj should take the responsibility of being the agressor as he had free licence. Maybe he can smash 6 consecutive sixes again?

At this stage I would predict that India may get 170 - 180.

India's current score is 77/2. Yuvraj and Sachin is in the middle. They have a brief conversation and returns back to their respective position for the 11th over. Indian batsman has to accelerate from now to get to a comfortable total. Shakib Al Hasan will be continuing with his slow left arm bowling and the batsman he will face will be Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin is finding hard to score runs as he is taking singles. The last over saw five singles with zero boundaries. India's runs per over is decreasing here. As the fans are getting restless, Sachin Tendulkar takes his mark to face the first delivery of the 12th over and he will be facing Bangladesh's best bowler Abdul Razzak. Sachin takes a single in the first delivery and gives Yuvraj the strike as because he will be the man to hit the big ones but that made India into deeper trouble as Yuvraj was lbw by Razzak. Bangladesh has got the main wicket and India are struggling at 83/3 with the new man Rohit Sharma at the middle but he didn't contribute that much to the total as he was too lbw by Razzak. With India loosing quick wickets now can Raina and Sachin save India from this disaster?

Raina is the new man in and he has to play a good knock here as his team is in trouble. Sachin and Raina somehow manage to end that over as they rotate the strike in the last few deliveries.Mahmudullah is going to be the new bowler and he is going to bowl his medium pacers. Mahmudullah bowls a tight over and puts more pressure on the Indian batsman. Razzak continues the bowling and Sachin finally brings some hope back to the Indian dressing room as he smashes a wonderful four. Mahmudullah contains the Indians to a double in his next over and India are desperately fighting to get boundaries here. With 5 overs left can India score a defendable total?

Five overs left and India will be looking to smash as much as boundaries as possible in this last few overs but another tight over from Shakib Al Hasan has put pressure on Raina and Sachin. Mahmudullah continues and finally India starts hitting those wonderful boundaries and this time its from the very first delivery. Sachin and Raina rotates their strike rest of the over as they couldn't smash another boundary in that over. Hasan is into his last over and he strikes with his first victim, Suresh Raina who tried to go over the top but in the end being caught by the fielder. Captain M.S.Dhoni comes to the crease with a lot of pressure on him. Can he play a captains knock today?

With India loosing wickets at regular interval Dhoni and Tendulkar are the current batsman at the middle. The next two overs has been like gold to Bangladesh as India could only score seven runs in two overs. With the last over left, India is currently on 121 and Mortaza is going to bowl the last over. Dhoni gives a brilliant start to the over by smashing a four in the first delivery then he smashes the second six of the innings and Dhoni is on fire. Dhoni takes a double in the next ball and thats the final run that came in the last over. India finshes on 135 and it will be a tough challenge for them to defend it but with bowlers like Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh India can defend that total also. So can India defend it? Only 135 after being 77/2 thats really poor batting from the middle order and I think this my be very tough for the Indian bowlers..:doh

I would have thought India would have been able to score at least 150+ judging by where they were after ten overs. Good bowling by Bangladeshi's in the last 10 overs, now India will have to bowl very well here as it will be tough defending a total of 135.

Indian fielders return back to the middle with Bangladesh's two openers Iqbal and Hasan. India has a tough challenge ahead as they have to defend a low total of 136. India's opening bowler is going to be Zaheer Khan. Tamim Iqbal is going to face the first delivery of the Bangladesh's Innings. Bangladesh gets a good start as Iqbal smashes Khan for a four through 3rd Man and Hasan smashes his first four in his first delivery through Mid-Off. RP Singh is going to start his spell and he starts brilliantly as he gives four singles in that over. Khan continues the attack and he takes India to the first step from winning this one by taking Bangladesh's key batsman Shakib Al Hasan. He was comprehensively bowled by Zaheer Khan. Mahmudullah is the new man in and he edges a ball for four through Covers, Iqbal also smashes another four in that same over through Long off. Bangladesh 23/1 after 3 overs. Can India restrict Bangladesh from winning this?

RP Singh continues from the other end he also get smashed for a four by Iqbal but he soon takes revenge by bringing more joy to the Indian dressing room by taking Iqbal's wicket. Iqbal edged the ball to Dhoni by trying to hit it for a four. With Bangladesh loosing two quick wickets India are back into the game. India changes bowling from fast to spin as they bring on Harbhajan Singh. Singh puts more pressure on Bangladesh by giving away singles and the momentum is slowly swinging away from the Bangladesh camp to the Indian one. India replaces RP Singh with the leg spinner Amit Mishra. This is Amit Mishra's debut match for India in T20. Starts his career with a bad over by giving away a four and a six. Singh continues the attack. Hasan hits two back to back fours in that over taking Bangladesh to 59/2 in 7 overs at a RR of 8.42 and the require RR is 5.9 with Bangladesh needing 77 in 13overs. Amit Mishra continues the attack and he is again smashed for two more fours. Bangladesh is slowly going towards a victory here as they are hitting a lot of boundaries. Can India stop the Bangladeshi bowlers?

Harbhajan is replaced by Rohit Sharma. Lets see whether Sharma can bring back some hope to Team India. Sharma didn't get one of the best start he would have wanted as he was hit for two fours again. Mishra continues the attack just giving few singles and double in the 10th Over. Rohit Sharma continues the attack and he bowls a tight over here. Mishra bowls his last over of the spell and this time he produces a wicket but by giving three fours. With Bangladesh's hope of winning this one becomes above 90% Dhoni brings his spearhead bowlers back into the attack in hope of getting some quick wickets. Both Khan and RP Singh was smashed for fours in the next 3 overs and Bangladesh required 5 runs from 6 overs. Zaheer Khan had taken a wicket in that over but it was too late from stopping the Bangladeshi's from winning this one. In the 16th over they surpass India's total of 135 and wins the game by 6 wickets.

Match Review- India lost the game when they lost the valuable wicket of both Sehwag and Yuvraj as they were the key batsman for India. But Bangladesh got these two big guns and this was the turning point of the game. Bangladesh deserves to win this one as they were better than India in the field. India will be practicing before there game with Ireland and they will aim for winning it as they want to progress to the next stage of the tournament. Can India win it? Stay tuned to find out.​
