India's tour of Australia - January 2016

Read an article that said that Sran and Jadeja barely bowled in the nets. So basically Sran likely to give way to Bhuvi, and Jadeja to give way to Ashwin.

Also it said Mann could give way for Manish Pandey (or Mayank Agarwal whichever of the two it is)
OMG! You got it right.

Now, it is the right time for MSD to give away the captaincy to someone like Virat. He has been in horrible form and have lost all the charisma which he had in the past decade.

India is losing matches in ODIs and the same happened with the Test last year. After Virat taking over the captaincy he has been in good form and is leading the team to victory. He has won 2 series for India and both of them are historic and recording breaking wins.

Dhoni needs to make a big comeback or else Virat is waiting like a hungry lion for taking over captaincy.

Bhuvi might be playing his last series for a while. It's so surprising to see how quickly he has faded away from being out best bowler to worst. He just can not pick up wickets anymore.

Also still don't understand the reason behind having Jadeja over Ashwin. Even Australia is playing a regular spinner.

Agreed. But there no surprise in case of Bhuvi. Bowlers like him take wickets because of surprise factor thing. He bowled really well in his debut match against Pak. He is a finished chapter. Bring in players like Vinay, Varun or Nehra - who are performing far better then him in domestic series.

And in case of Ashwin, he is of no use in Australian pitches. Jadeja can be handy with both bat and ball.

Totally agree with what you said about Bhuvi. He was so consistent in the past, but after he and the team decided to add extra pace to his bowling, he has lost his charm. Also, I wouldn't have mind playing Ashwin in this match. He is our top bowler. He should be given preference even though pitch is not assisting spinners. It's not like our fast bowlers have done anything special. Might as well add Ashwin. Jaddu was brilliant in last match, so I don't see him being dropped. He can be a handy batsman too.

Watch this ODI be an exact repeat of the 5th odi against SA at Mumbai. Where three batsman will hammer our bowlers and get 100s and The total will be 400 plus. Warner, Bailey, and Smith all will get 100s.

Reverse-jinx?

This will be another humiliating defeat for India. Bowlers never learn to bowl well. I again bet my vcash on India, again on the loosing side. I never learn to bet for a winning team even though I knew India wouldn't win the match. Bottom line, I am like Indian bowlers. Never learn to use my brain and improvise things.

Just tuned in, 400 anyone? Great to see Rishi Dhawan bowling tight. On flat pitches you won't get a lot of wickets the best option is to keep things tight. Bhuvi waste again, and Umesh expensive and bowling both sides again. Ishant's figures are encouraging for a change.

Why isn't Smith out at #3 ... I guess he has gotten bored of flaying this Indian bowling attack around whenever he bats.

Ishant takes a rather challenging catch ... given his fielding standards this series, its the greatest achievement in cricket.

Mitchell Marsh is batting well so far. Happy that he was sent at #3.
