Yeah its an idiotic claim to begin with, so no wonder it was denied. One slow innings from Shikhar playing himself back to form, and suddenly Indian batsmen are selfish. And even Shikhar Dhawan got out trying to up the pace and make up for the slow start, he was swining his bat left and right when he got out.
That too from Maxwell who was getting flayed by his coach before this series for just throwing is wicket away.
I wonder which shows greater commitment, grind it out in the middle score the hard runs, or walk in play a senseless shot and get out.
Look mate, there are two ways of handling a constructive criticism, One is to learn from it and make improvements where the problem resides and the second way is to completely wipe out the feedback and insist that everything is going perfect.. The problem is there and we have witnessed in this match as well. Two double tons yet such kind of a loss. I don't rate this claim as a sudden thing its a history..
Consistent winning and to be on top required a first-rate first class cricket system which is there in Australia and sub-continent is clearly lacking it. They are better in doing their homework
Dhoni should resign as captain irrespective of what happens at WT20! & I am not a Dhoni Hater!
can we just drop the whole seam bowlers and allrounders bunch and get some potentially talented u-19 players in im sure they will do a better job learning instead of these guys learning after INTL call up and in 5 yrs we may have a better team!
Mean while i dont see them performing worse than this!
We really fked ourselves here, when you need 72 off 75, then why the fk you need to give a gift to the point fielder and the score a mamoth 46 - 9 in the remaining overs. Rather bring ALi Bubere, the 17 year old kid who bowls left arm fast and bats a bit for his school.
(Any one who is not Ishant, Umesh, Bhuvi)
I know this seems like the batsmen are to blame
This is all what you got as far as bowlers are concerned.... I mean India never had talented bowling line-up relative to other teams. Some came but became the victim of fame and totally lost it, one example is Irfan Pathan. I don't think so BCCI can do much work on the bowling department other than to pray that some natural talent rises. India's strength has always been strong batting line-up, I think they need to channelize their batsmen mindset against big teams particularly Gaints like Australia and South Africa.
Even a legend like Wasim Akram can't do anything in coaching fast bowlers if there is no talent and hardwork from them...
