Opening Ceremony
The much anticipated league was all set to start. It was time for the opening ceremony of International Premier League. All the 50 over world cup winning captains were present at the ground, Old Trafford, Manchester. Clive Lloyd, Kapil Dev, Allan Border, Imran Khan, Arjuna Ranatunga, Steve Waugh and the other two, Ricky Ponting and MS Dhoni were obviously present at the ground as they were playing in this league. The opening ceremony was full of excitement as some known stars performed in the ceremony.
Sharukh Khan was present in the ceremony. Sharukh danced on most of his famous songs and rocked the crowd. Eminem sang some of his very popular songs, everyone in the crowd said "EMINEM ROCKS"...."EMINEM ROCKS".....
Next performer was by Katrina Kaif, she had a very good support from the crowd. 
She performed on her films popular songs and the crowd just loved her dancing. Although the surprise performance was from AB de Villiers and Brett Lee. Yes, these two are cricketers and not singers. 
They both love their music and got a chance to perform together in the opening ceremony of International Premier League. They were not too bad. 
Now it was time for some speeches. All the captains were called on the stage and were asked to say a few words on the league. All the captains said positive words and were quite happy that finally a test league was happening. The world cup winning captains were also asked to say a few words on the league and they too were very impressed by the league, after all most of those world cup winning captains are test legends.
At the end, the manager of the league, Aditya said a few words about the league and declared the league OPEN. Opening ceremony was over and it was now time for the first match of the tournament, Sydney Superstars v Liverpool Lightnings. Which team will win the toss and the match? Check in the next update.
