Apparently there were some that were PMed to ste, so no answers for them. Unless of course I'm given those questions at some point in the future, in which case then they'd probably get answers in keeping with the point of the answering of questions.
Main difficulties usually come up when trying to arbitrate arguments - forum debates can quickly get out of hand, and trying to settle that down and come up with a response that can try to please both sides is often impossible.
Getting that wrong can and has meant the site losing good members.
The forums themselves on the other hand make that a bit tough, finishing something off and posting it to demands of doing more is a bit much to handle - so I'll stick with short bursts.
I also plan for India to lose to New Zealand more often.
Nothing really sticks out in my mind though.
I do think that DBC14 already has brought a big increase in the quality of conversation and the general feel of the forums, it's weird how some of the members that instantly come to mind as some of our best posters - like Blockerdave and SnowyCasanova joined last year.
I'm certainly enjoying reading and contributing in the forums now far more than I have in a long time.
Don't know. Big Ant's appointed publishing overlords at Tru Blu apparently control that sort of thing and are obviously seeking to minimise the amount of time Ross is near recording equipment.
Obviously I've quite successfully built up terror in the PlanetCricket masses who would dare question me.

I reject the premise of the question. You don't butter and marmalade. It's up there with putting butter and nutella on the same piece of toast in the ranks of true evil in the world.
I've always wanted to have some more video content - those times where I've gone and filmed for upcoming cricket games are some of the best things I've done on the site, just wish that they were more professional and more varied.
The weakness of conviction, helps a lot in getting my way on internal decisions.
I've not had much experience with Indian food to make a judgement - if it was all naan and butter chicken, I could probably last a while. Swap the chicken for vegetarian curry, and I'm probably going to go crazy.

Not having much of a life and thus having plenty of time to do time consuming tasks that no one else wanted to. A bit of technical skill helped as well.
Nope, it's a dull and time consuming job that I can see why not many people would want to do.
I think universally everyone I've seen that status on isn't on a list of mine of potential staff members.
Obviously all of them, I wish the site was at a point one day where that would be possible. But if I had to pick and choose, Zimrahil does a huge amount of background work in keeping the site going in managing our finances - I don't understand any of that accounting stuff, so it's a crucial role. I'd also want to buy Dutch an unlimited supply of any alcoholic beverage of his choice for the crap he deals with that I don't want to touch.
Probably - the upcoming release of DBC14 would probably have drawn me back just as much as it did for so many others. Wouldn't be anywhere near as active though.

I would hope so, but don't really expect it to, I see some screenshots of things people are making and assume that the computers people are using will never be playing DBC14 on them, so there will remain a big audience for a terrible game that should have died out long ago.

I think in my time I've seen every year claimed by some members as the 'golden era' as a time to get back to - mostly because of the activity of a particular time's main posters, the familiar faces and banter is what a lot of people consider the 'golden era' rather than the particular shape of the forums at that time.
