If I do that, every one bid 5 to 6 million on the player they want and after settle to one bid increment more than the second highest bid...I thought the whole point is for the highest bid to win, so if we bid 5 M on Tahir and the second highest bid was 500k we will still pay 5 M realistically we should pay one bid increment more than the second highest bid.
The point is you thought Tahir is worth of 1.8m and you won him on that price... That's why I say, it is not winning every player in the auction... If you think everyone one bid high on him and you can't match it than, look for better replace who can take wickets and bowl better 4 overs for you... I announce the list before the auction starts, look at all players, make better plan and build a winning team...
