After losing two friendlies Extremely poorly while i could have held on for more i decided to dive into the matter.... Before i arrive at the conclusion maybe the two friendlies reporters summary will help...
Aura vs Assassins...
Basically i expected a loss... but he trashed me just like anyone against a BOT...
Aura vs BFN Bombers
I bowled much better in a dusty pitch bundled them out for 174...
But then i got out for 93...
Now lets Dive into the stats...
The 6 pure batsmen whom i let play in the team... they have no other work except fielding.
Murray, Naidoo, Dharmasena, Crainey, Wijenayake and Duminda...
Murray this season:
Naidoo:
Dharmasena:
Crainey:
Wijenayake:
Duminda:
Duminda, Wijenayake and Dharmasena are exceptional cases...
naturally playing these high skilled players should yield better results...
But then Arthur and Fletcher are low skilled...
Arthur:
Fletcher:
Surely they perform much better and exceptionally high against BOTS...
so what am i doing wrong?
My first Strong+ Spin bowler gave away 17 runs in two overs against an abysmal/abysmal batting lineup on a dusty pitch yesterday...
He ended up 2/40 in 10 overs... an Economy of 4.... while my other respectable bowlers gave away at max 3... not mentioning Fletcher... who is a comp bowler with abysmal consistency on the same day batted 107 balls racked up 93 runs... and still got figures of 1/10 in 5 overs...
So... should i go after stats or form? will you go after stats or form? you decide... I already have decided...
