Once they sort their defensive issues/woes out, Roma would boast quite a stunning team, capable of beating anyone on their day. Absolute pwnage of Milan tonight.

same could be said about half the teams in italy though. roma, napoli and milan themselves are world class upfront but are awful defending. milan didn't exactly make it difficult for roma tonight.

zeman hasn't ever been one for defense though, he's always set out a fast attacking 4-3-3, so it perhaps shouldn't be that surprising roma are a bit frail.

Agreed on Napoli, but Milan definitely aren't world class upfront imho. Need a trequartista and a creative midfielder to make that happen. Someone like PSV's Kevin Strootman.

Despite being injured Giuseppe Rossi is set to join Fiorentina | Sky Sports

Fiorentina will pay around ?8million plus a bonus of ?4million if the deal works out.

With that, another Yellow Submarine becomes a Viola, following the footsteps of Gonzalo and Borja Valero. Montella's transfer dealings have been quite sensational this season - a net spend of just 10M and they're coasting at third place in the Serie A and have also been constantly praised for their attractive brand of football under their new manager.

Just need to keep hold of Jovetic now.

Great to see Rossi will be soon back playing, was beginning to worry what was up with him.

Also annoyed Prince-boateng kick didn't connect to those in crowd who was racially insulting him.

I heard rumours that Jovetic has a similar problem with his knees to Ba which Fiorentina are trying to keep quiet. Anyone know about that?

And 10 men Inter lost away to Udinese......

Not the huge surprise which the Juve one was though.

I always hear that he is a little bit injury prone.....

And Fiorentina lost at home to PESCARA!!!! Crazy day for Italian football - Conte's first league defeat in two years from the touchline, Fiorentina's fortress home surged past by lowly Pescara, and Inter well out of form since their outstanding 3-1 win at Juventus.

Milan won their game against Siena though, while the match of the week arguably awaits when Napoli and Roma go head to head later tonight!

Cavani, that guy needs to get out of Italy sooner than later!

Keep Lamela at bay, take down Roma with ease. Outstanding from Zuniga for carrying that task out to perfection. Needless to comment on Cavani, considering the guy's on a whole new level.

Guarin is a cracking player right from his Porto days under AVB. His assist against Roma on Sunday was a classic example of his never say never attitude on the pitch.
