this game is pooh no matter what i try or do i just cant get the batting right ive used every ai patch going thats supposed to make things easier but they dont seem to work.

in the practice nets im ok but when it comes to a game its a different matter
its getting to the point where im going to launch this cd out the window
so if any one has any serious tips it would most appreciated :crying

You should try
The Spins Beginner patch its the best I've seen.

The best thing to do when your batting is play defesively then play the big shots with settled batsmen.

I found the demo quite easy. I scored 28 runs in 1 over with no problem, but it took me some time.

play on medium mode not easy! easy is harder because it chooses the shot for you.

Yeah defend and nerdle the ball around then play big shots

I've started playing again. Eng v Ind - Dusty pitch. I was scoring at 7 and over off the seamers so they took them off after 7 overs and bowled spin for the rest of the innings. My R/R went down to 2 p/o and I was ao for 150!!!

Nah, I much prefer BLIC but I thought I'd give c2k5 another try.
Got reminded why I hate it:
120 overs - no new ball
disappearing wicketkeeper
Bowled 50 overs for 49 runs
Opposition played and missed about 27 times without once taking the edge
