There are South Africans playing for England? No..
That's what i meant, so exactly what is wrong with these other countried players playing for Australian then. If these South African's can play for England, then anybody can play for any team.

and regarding the "players not born here" (I know evo is joking) but he has a small point. I don't think there is anything wrong with a kid who grows up in AUS to play for AUS. If he moved there at the age of 25 or somethign then it's not cool, but he seems pretty Australian.

My personal rules with playing players from 'other countries' is, if they played U/19's there then they are from that country, not if they came over when they were 6 or 7.
How is it "not cool"? The Australian selectors are looking for the best cricketers around the country at the current time. If Khawaja is a batsman in form, despite where he grew up, he should be giving the freedom to play cricket.
Because that is what separates international cricket from the IPL. As well as the quality being probably a millions times better in Test cricket.
But fair enough if you move to a Country at a young age and play all your cricket there, but I don't see how someone like Trott who was born in South Africa, grew up there (I assume) and then played under 15's and under 19's for South Africa can suddenly become 'English'. But that's the world we live in I guess.
