The Knights have been assembled, time to give this thread what its due... Revival!

2 times IPL winner & runners up of the last edition of the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders have had their squad Assembled for the next generation of cricket. KKR has a rich history of entertainment, explosive batting and some spicy bowling. Its now rests on the shoulder of these Knights to take KKR to greater heights.

While we are definitely a little short on the Indian pace bowling department, I see Venky, Mavi playing a huge role and filling the gap this season. Perhaps we can get some Indian talent next year. I really wished we would have bought Ishant Sharma for the base price. Our spin department looks soild with Varun and Narine being our primary spinners. Nabi, Rana to add more variety while our newcomers in Aman and Ankul can hopefully be groomed to be good all rounders.

There is an apparent buzz for Ramesh Kumar who is known as Narine Jalabad! He came in for a trial with KKR and management loves his 6 hitting ability. He has not played professional cricket and has only played tennis ball cricket and has a hit 10 ball 50.

The first thing would be who will be leading the side? Do we go with a foreigner in Pat or Dre or would it be an Indian? I would personally like Iyer to captain the side as Jinx is good but I do not see him playing all the matches.

My XI would be

That batting line up bats so deep. We still would have 8 bowling options. 2 spinners in Sunil and Nabi. Umm.. Probably they will have Rahane sit and Rana/Narine open to fit in Varun?

Good headache to have. Strong side, not so hyped up names and I see us doing well.

We've bashed you enough in the past and have won 5 titles! Gambhir went away so as KKR's luck with those titles he won. :p

Dont worry, this is a fresh start. Fresh blood, new captain will do wonders for us. I am just happy we made it to the finals and you guys did not even qualify for the play offs.. oh without Gambhir ;)

Yet your previous Captain ran away while your best player is hiding behind in the name of injury. Oh we know he can't face quality pacers! :p
