My method to solve this issue (its just a suggestion):
First, run the existing system and tier system simultaneously for two weeks (Something like League of the week, which works as trial for LOTM). After that, lets see which one gives fair results and lets be with it. Simple solution, though its a big work for Callum and Hedger.

Yeah, better Binnu. That will just allow more pathetic leagues to start and win and go. I say, just shut it already really. There is too much to this. We will then know who all do the leagues for fun and who not.

I guess we should impose the rule that no one can start more than one league unless he has specific and reasonable reason for that.

How many new leagues do you see in a two weeks of time for a trail competition. The results will be taken into consideration only to decide which format should we follow, more than who is the winner, which should be properly delivered to all league holders.
BTW, I don't want to pull this discussion too much cause I believe in 'Where there is a will, there is a way.'

I second this one!
I saw many people starting multiple leagues resulting in non completion of all the things they've taken up.

I've been more harsh on people starting multiple leagues, and people starting leagues who have a history of not completing them.
Don't worry, this should be under control now.

^ no double standards should be set btw, so the only one allowed to set up 2 leagues could be someone who is running a champions league and their own league.

be firm and close one of the leagues, if they do have more than one.

I'll allow people to start two leagues if they don't have a history of not finishing leagues, like bcvs.
Someone like Dipak started two leagues, and since he doesn't have a history of not finishing leagues I allowed it, but it now puts the ball back in his court, because if he doesn't finish one of them I will not allow him to start another one.

You're names "Aussie Team", so I've just always assumed you're an Aussie. :spy :laugh

I remember having a discussion about this before :P And about how he used to say his name was Andrew Peters all the time.
