Okay, so we all know that I don't have a fantastic record of completing leagues of late, especially with real life and stuff, but on this rare occasion that I have what feels like a genuinely good and original idea, I don't think I should let it go to waste. So without further ado I present to you The Left-Handed Premier League.
Teams
The LHPL will be contested by six teams:
Squads

Player Contracts
In the first season's draft, the first three players will be awarded with a three-season contract, the next six with two-season contracts, and the final nine with one-season contracts. In all future seasons, the split will be three-three-three. From the second season onwards, teams will also be able to use one Right to Retain (R2R) card per season, which will allow them to keep one of their nine released players in return for an opening-round draft pick. This should help teams to maintain some continuity in the longer term.
This should keep the teams fairly fresh whilst not allowing them to completely lose their identity.
Player Eligibility
To play in this league, a player needs to be left-handed. Right-handed batsmen are allowed, but only at number nine or below in the batting order. For example:
- D'Arcy Short is fine to bat and bowl.
- Ben Stokes can play, but only as a specialist batsman.
- Trent Boult can play, but only if he bats at nine or below.
- Niroshan Dickwella is absolutely fine.
- Virat Kohli is absolutely not fine.
Available Players

Note: This is not an exhaustive list of players. If you can think of someone who's eligible that I've missed, by all means sign him up.

Signing Up
I can't promise to allocate the teams on a first-come first-serve basis, because I may choose to go with someone who I know to be a reliable manager over someone who I do not. Also, with only six teams, they could disappear quite quickly.
Anyhow, to sign up, please post your first-, second- and third-choice teams to manage. Thank you very much!
Player Stats
I don't really have much time to keep player stats up-to-date, so I can't make any great promises here. I am sadly not @VC the slogger
