The Kamikazes were in a good position to bat out for a draw with Douglas Jardine and Mark Boucher looking solid at the crease but JJ Ferris's brilliant spell dashed their hopes.

Too many batters played by Kamikazes I'd say. Kapil Dev's bad outing with the bat didn't really made that feel though. One more bowler could have been the difference for them.
Varun, the alphabet 's' is not used after the apostrophe for a noun of whose name ends with the letter 's' itself.
For e.g.,

Not necessarily. Its a rule in British english, which is the base to Indian English. American English allows you to have that extra 's' after an apostrophe. Most letters and legal papers use the extra 's'
