Ideally, you have should brought Patto and Gibson in for Browne and Rose. The Benjamins were good bowlers. Also, you will want to keep enough batsmen in your team. I think Wavell Hinds would be available for you and you should replace him with one of the Benjamins. Hinds was scoring quite a few runs back in 1997-98. Now, that you have good 5-6 bowlers, I hope you will be able to use them to good effect. My advice is to start with a four men pace attack of Ambrose, Walsh, Bishop and Patto.

It's never easy to chase a total in excess of 250 at the MCG, and the West Indians should have known better than to send Australia in after winning the toss. The indifferent form of some of their batsmen and failure to convert starts proved to be a chink in their armor thick with fearsome fast bowlers.

Ricky Ponting dug deep in the second innings while the Australians came under fire from Ambrose, Walsh, Bishop and surprise package of Hooper to score a crucial 67.

Glenn McGrath then did what he does best and picked up a 5-fer to bowl Australia to victory.

We got to expect that now that they have a world class attack. I would not bank on Hooper to click as much as Richie, Lara and Chanders. Lara in particular has played some of his best cricket against Australia.
