Stumps, Day 3

@Fenil @Samuels

We should've done better but Miller's flop form did us in. Well played Richards and surprise package Murray. 100+ lead is but that caption says 'respectable'. Sounds like our batsmen are going to play long second innings.

Don't be too sure of anything just yet. I deliberately post stuff like that to keep the managers guessing. ;)

Fantastic match so far. I am really looking forward to seeing the bowling figures of Maco and Stephenson (particularly with his deadly variation in pace) along with dead straight whispering death on a deteriorating wicket while Robets and Garner would rely on the twin bouncers and yorkers respectively.

I guess you were caught napping my comment and will start using confusing captions from now on.

Expecting more play tonight or tomorrow.

The 1948 Australians beat the mighty West Indies to the cup! Their skipper Don Bradman finally ended up with the LAB winners trophy after agonizingly missing out in both Seasons 3 & 4.

Despite a disastrous first innings, Keith Miller bounced back unbelievably well to end up with the Man of the Match award. His quickfire 92 coupled with a fiery second innings bowling spell turned the tables on a very strong West Indian side.
