Transfers Window Legends At Battle XII | Pre-season - Late action is still better than no action at all

I never did ask anyone to specify decades, just the eras.. coz the eras automatically decide the decades or pitch types your venue is based in.
It's a bit confusing. Can you show us an example post for the venue picks?

It's right there in the post I made.. No decades or anything, just the orbs mentioned to specify your era

Once you've made up your mind, you may post your desired venue and era as such for eg: :purpo: Sydney Cricket Ground, :redo: Trent Bridge etc etc

We can pick two eras or just one?

If you pick only one home venue then just one era will suffice. If two, then you need two pick two separate eras for each of them.

Lineup rules

1) A proper wicket-keeper (:wk:/:wkb:/:arwk:) in your XI.
2) A minimum of 6 players marked to bowl.
3) Players ruled out due to injury cannot be selected.
4) The time limit for posting lineups is 48 hours. I will likely go with a random lineup if your lineup isn't posted within that time.
5) Teams must give a minimum of 16 players (at least 2 :pst: associates/:psc: T20 specialists) a game over the course of the tournament (warm-ups don't count).

Venue timelines

:purpo: Olympics era 1(1896-1912): Terrible for batsmen, average scoring rates around 3 to 3.5 runs per over.
:goldo: Olympics era 2 (1920-1936): Truer wickets for batting, average scoring rates around 3.5 to 4.0 runs per over.
:bro: Early-ODI era (1971-1983): Evenly balanced contests between bat and ball, average scoring rates around 4.0 to 4.5 runs per over.
:blueo: Mid-ODI era (1985-1999): Slightly better for batting than the previous era, average scoring rates around 4.5 to 5.0 runs per over.
:slvo: Pre-Twenty20 era (2000-2009): More in favor of batsmen than previous eras, average scoring rates around 5.0 to 5.5 runs per over.
:redo: Twenty20 era (2010-present): The most batting friendly era of the lot, average scoring rates around 5.5 to 6.5 runs per over.

Statistics

To be updated once every 3 rounds after the start of the official tournament.

Standings

TBA

Explanation on pitch types

:bwl::down: Damp/Sticky - Massively in favor of bowlers and an absolute nightmare to bat on, unless you're Victor Trumper.
:left::right: Dusty - Plenty of turn on offer for spinners and a good place to bat for spin-savvy batsmen. Good pace bowlers are still likely to thrive.
:ar::up: Evenly balanced - Provides an evenly balanced contest for all disciplines.
:bat::left: Flat - A batsman-friendly pitch which provides little or no assistance to bowlers. Expect big totals.
:bwl::up: Green - A lot of movement on offer early on, which makes it ideal for bowlers capable of swinging the ball. Batting expected to become easier as the match progresses.
:ar::left: Hard - Ideal conditions for batting. Good deal of bounce on offer for fast bowlers as well. Could go either way
:right::left: Dry/Slow - Ideal for slow and spin bowlers as the name suggests. Sometimes quite difficult to bat on.
:down: Poor - Uneven bounce and a huge amount of turn on offer for spinners. Expect a slow hard grind where most batsmen rarely score at above 2 an over.
