It's not like I really needed any more players though with the fifteen I already had. But I do maintain that those three would do better in modern one-day cricket than a lot of the guys who are getting picked owing to the technical changes in batsmanship that have occurred in the last decade or so. But this league is all about suspension of disbelief anyhow, so I don't mind if it's a punt that totally fails.

Very well. Once you guys are done with the drafts, you may name your home venues (they must be actual Test/ODI venues) and pick an era you'd like your home matches to be based in. These are the eras you can pick from:

Olympics era 1(1896-1912): Terrible for batsmen, average scoring rates around 3 to 3.5 runs per over.
Olympics era 2 (1920-1936): Truer wickets for batting, average scoring rates around 3.5 to 4.0 runs per over.
Early-ODI era (1971-1983): Evenly balanced contests between bat and ball, average scoring rates around 4.0 to 4.5 runs per over.
Mid-ODI era (1985-1999): Slightly better for batting than the previous era, average scoring rates around 4.5 to 5.0 runs per over.
Pre-Twenty20 era (2000-2009): More in favor of batsmen than previous eras, average scoring rates around 5.0 to 5.5 runs per over.
Twenty20 era (2010-present): The most batting friendly era of the lot, average scoring rates around 5.5 to 6.5 runs per over.

Your eras must match your venues, so for instance if you pick one of the two Olympics eras you must pick venues that hosted internationals during that particular time frame for eg Lords/The MCG/SCG in order for them to be valid. Same goes for some of the newer venues such as The Rose Bowl, Dharamshala, Pallekelle etc. This should hopefully ensure all types of players have a fair chance of succeeding here, and not just the modern day aggro types.
