Now thats how its done! Completely dominant over the subcontinent giants. This victory will boost our position in the points table further up.

I'd like to mention something by the way, India manager's move to remove Nadkarni on a poor wicket did surprised me. Not that he could have been a huge difference in this sort of match but still Nadkarni could have been easy on the rank turner. Also, I wonder what made him select the likes of Nazir Ali against the table toppers?

The match seemed to be headed for a draw with just 5 overs remaining till stumps and Wally Hammond batting alongside George Lohmann. However, Pakistan had other plans and Abdul Razzaq removed Hammond, Waqar Younis knocked over Lohmann and then finally Sydney Barnes was out caught off the bowling of Wasim Akram playing a rash shot.

Pakistan beat their LAB rivals England which also brought up their first win in Season 3, a consolation after a disappointing start to the tournament.

Wally Hammond scored a scintillating 174 off 206 balls batting at no 8 in the first innings to bring England back from the dead when they were stuttering at 128 for 6. He scored a quickfire 51 as well in the second innings and proved his usefulness with the ball by picking 2 wickets each in both innings. Unfortunately for him, England's defeat meant his effort went in vain. His show with the bat raised questions why he was batting so low down the order.
