The team so far:
Virat Kohli :
Arguably the best Indian batsman to play in the IPL, the modern day legend Kohli is the
only player to amass over 7000 runs in IPL with his currently tally at 7263 runs comprising of 7 hundreds and staggering 50 half centuries! His record for highest numbers of runs in a season still remains intact after all these years which is a testimony of his skill and consistency.

Yashasvi Jaiswal
Touted as the next big thing in Indian cricket, the former U-19 world cup winner, Jaiswal is a tale of rags to riches with all his willpower and hard work. In the latest edition of IPL, he proved his mettle by scoring
625 runs and at a swashbuckling strike rate of 163.61!! Bowlers beware from this rising star.

Ishan Kishan
Batting in the middle order, MI's blue eyed boy top scored for the team in 2020 hammering
516 runs from just 13 innings at a jaw-dropping
average of 57.33 at a mindboggling strike rate of 146 which comprised of 4 fifties including
a 99 against RCB with the team having reduced to 2-16 in the third over and 4-78 in the 12th over chasing a mammoth 202. His six hitting ability is a sight to behold and there has never been a doubt how skillful Ishan is. A wonderful addition to the team who will also don the gloves for us.
Ever since, Kishan has only grown in his stature even scoring an ODI double hundred in the process.

Dinesh Karthik
Dinesh Karthik with his international career spanning around 18 years well and truly found his mojo in 2022 when slid himself into the role of a finisher and how?! Mostly playing in the death overs when the best of the bowlers were at the disposal of the rival team, Karthik smashed
22 sixes and 27 boundaries in just 16 innings as he scored
330 runs with a staggering
average of 55 and that at a
strike rate of 183+!
He was solid behind the stumps too bringing all his experience and expertise over the years onto the ground.
Certainly a huge asset to have in the team especially at the death overs when the teams want to swell the score.

Ravindra Jadeja
Allrounders are pivotal in any form of cricket and T20 is no different especially when a player can contribute equally with both the facets of the game. Add to that Jaddu's unbelievable fielding and you already have the man worth his weight in gold. He is one of the few who has the double of 3000+runs and 200+wickets in T20 cricket.
The 5 time IPL champion, smashed runs at an
average of 75+ and the
SR in excess of 145 while also grabbing
13 crucial wickets at an economy rate of just 7 an over. Certainly more than handy at any point of the game.

Dwayne Bravo
The man with a staggering
615 wickets AND almost 7000 runs in T20 cricket, he is THE best allrounder still going strong in the format. Bravo in the IPL has been a beast too. Grabbing wickets at crucial intervals for multiple seasons and even winning the purple caps. Not to undermine his batting skills as he showed in the 2012 season when he scored runs at an average of 46 making him a perfect team man for any team giving immense balance to the side with both bat and ball.

Sunil Narine
At a time when an economy rate under 8 was considered great, this man maintained the economy rate of 5!!!! To add to that, he grabbed wickets for fun and was a go to man for his captains back in the day. The batsmen were flummoxed by his guile and accuracy so much so that even the biggest of hitters or best of the batsmen were unable to work him out even in the powerplay or death overs. His dominance was one of a kind and never to be emulated again. This can be judged by the fact that
he had 216 T20 wickets at an economy rate of 5.52 until 2016! He currently has over 500 T20 wickets and scores runs at a more than handy career strike rate of 146.40!

Jaydev Unadkat
A tall, lanky left armer with seemingly harmless pace but immense accuracy and a plethora of variations, Jaydev Unadkat was breathing fire back in 2017 when he accounted for an unbelievable
26% of the wickets taken by his entire side in the season. To think that he picked up those many wickets at an attacking strike rate of
11 at a miserly economy rate of 7 at
13.42 a peace and one can see why he would be getting the new ball from our team. There have been few who have been able to boast such numbers.

Rudra Pratap Singh
The spearhead of the world cup winning team of the Inaugural T20I World Cup, RP Singh was an attacking bowler and one of the first Indians to adapt to the slambang version of cricket with his bag of tricks. He came out on top of biggest of hitters back in 2009 not only being the
leading wicket taker of the season but also helping the team clinch the title.
23 wickets at 18 a piece and given that his
economy rate is under 7 though he bowled in powerplay as well as death overs speaks volumes about his talent and skill.
