What if we allow the player from whom the pick was stolen to steal the pick back within 24 hours. Saying this because some people live continents apart with a 12 hour time difference.Okay let me clear the dust.
A player can be stolen while the round is still on.
Now when I used the steal card, round 8 had not started. Also, since I brought in a player, I had to replace a player already picked by me. Bear in mind that we are allowed to change a pick while the round is still on and the next round has not started yet.
I used the steal card hours before the next round started so during that window, anyone and everyone could have chosen to steal the stolen player or the original drafter (here, Ahmed) could have used the steal card to get his player back.
Lastly, as I opted for Jadeja in Round 7, obviously the player I initially picked became free agent and hence available to pick by anyone.
The reason why Neptune or for that matter anyone couldn't steal your player is that by the time you picked Yusuf for Round 6, the 7th round had already started hence the ongoing round would actually be Round 7 at the time and not Round 6.
A hell lot confusing I know but I hope that helps.
@RUDI Does this sound okay to you or should I revert the pick? I'm fine with either.
So if someone makes a steal within 6-10 hours of a round's deadline, the other player might be sleeping or away with work.
In this case, only 4 hours were left for the round to end when the pick was stolen. So @ahmedleo414 who lives in Canada must get atleast 24 hours to steal back his pick.
Just a suggestion.
