Dhoni, Sehwag and Irfan in the same team? Thats a recipe of disaster going by the real life comments of Dhoni for Viru's fielding and him vocal about it multiple times as well as sitting Irfan out of the XI from IPL as well not getting him into the Indian team despite Irfan doing absolutely outstanding with the ball domestically at one stage.

To think that he picked up those many wickets at an attacking strike rate of 11 at a miserly economy rate of 7 at 13.42 a peace and one can see why he would be getting the new ball from our team. The spearhead of the world cup winning team of the Inaugural T20I World Cup, RP Singh was an attacking bowler and one of the first Indians to adapt to the slambang version of cricket with his bag of tricks. He came out on top of biggest of hitters back in 2009 not only being the leading wicket taker of the season but also helping the team clinch the title. 23 wickets at 18 a piece and given that his economy rate is under 7 though he bowled in powerplay as well as death overs speaks volumes about his talent and skill.

2016 witnessed the rise of an new death bowler in the Indian pace front called Jasprit Bumrah. A similar story was building up in the neighbourhood nation of Bangladesh where we first witnessed the death bowling skills of Mustafizur 'Fizz' Rehman for the first time. The high speed low-full tosses he bowled during the death made the life of the batters difficult. He became the one and only overseas player till date to win the IPL Emerging Player award.
