LEGENDS of the IPL Draft // Rounds 11 underway ...

I think this fits:
  • Player should be less than 24 years old
  • Player should have played less than 25 IPL matches before the start of that year's IPL
  • Player should have played less than 5 Tests or 20 ODIs before the start of that year's IPL

Unfortunately Rashid Khan is still ineligible for the Emerging Player pick as he had already played 28 ODI before 2018

Unfortunate @mohsin7827 ! Your smart move didn't work out.

That explains it. Rashid played 26 ODIs before the start of IPL 2017 and 44 ODIs before the start of 2018 hence making him invalid for the award even for his debut season.

Yes
Rashid the bowler from 2018 is more impactful I feel and has low economy than 2023 version.
With similar one of batting performance but in winning cause.
All Rashid Khans look the same to me. Still can't comprehend that he is just 24.

Fair assessment on bowling but I would disagree in terms of his batting. He is a far better batsman now. I mean he scored 59 in 7 innings with a HS of 34 i.e., 25 runs in 6 innings barring the HS inning.

Anyway, enough of Rashid now. Lets move on from the topic.

Most important pick . A team needs a good captain too . Gautam Gambhir - 2012

:ind: :bat: Gautam Gambhir :local: :c: (Kolkata Knight Riders) - 2012
:ind: :wkb: Rishabh Pant :local: :bro: (Delhi Daredevils/Capitals) - 2018
:wi: :ar: Andre Russell :os: (Kolkata Knight Riders) - 2019

Round 3:
:ind: :wkb: KL Rahul (KXIP - 2018)

That era when KL Rahul was honestly good and his batting actually suited the T20 format. He got the best year in terms of runs in 2018 clocking his best strike rate of almost 160 and on top of it, he kept wickets as well. Opener slot. Keeper slot. Another Indian mainstay. All boxes checked.
