Story Living with India

Now that was a superb win! Great bowling by Munaf and great batting by Sehwag!

Good presentation!

It was a comfortable series win, but it was only against Zimbabwe. The toughest challenge is to come.

Looking at squad

Ishant Sharma - B1
Munaf Patel - B2 (Although crap in real life he'll be handy in reel life)
RP Singh (Should have been Irfan but hes not in squad)
H. Singh
P Chawla (If needed, but against Zim 4 bowlers are enough)

Thanks, your suggestions have been noted.

easy win and good update

India have done pretty well to win 3-0 but it should be expected against such a poor side. Your next test will be Australia and I can see that being pretty damn difficulty.

I've just copied and pasted sid's as I completely agree with it :)

Want Ojha In The Squad Or Will Never Comment Again:rolleyes:

Ojha did well in the Test series in England, but he isn't a one day bowler. So expect him in the Test squad but not the one day squad.

freddiw looks like a typical Indian fan :D. btw, is that the squad for the test series?

The squad is in this post!

To be short, India have dominated throughout against Zimbabwe ;)

That RP is crap to me in normal ODIs. I still wonder how he was magical in that T20 Wcup.. But after that, really crap. And Munaf, as said above, is also crap bowler in real life. :p lifeless bowler! ;)

India needs all rounders. Has new coach thaught about that?

Get your effigies ready.

For now, the team is doing well without all rounders. When they are required, I will look into it.

what is effiegies and Ojha better be on his way

Effigies are representations of a person which some Indian fans burn to show their dismay. This practice is pathetic.

You cant be Indian fan if you dont know effigy.

Ganguly earns Test series recall

sourav_ganguly_narrowweb__300x378,0.jpg

Sourav Ganguly has been selected by the BCCI for the India squad to play in the upcoming Test series in Australia.

The 35 year old was omitted from the set up when coach Lee Payne took over before the tour of England, but was recalled for the ODI series against Zimbabwe, where he did not bat in any of the three matches.

He has, however, earned himself a place in India's toughest challenge under Payne so far.

Anil Kumble injured is a big concern. Now India will find it hard to break those frustrating partnerships. Good luck though. I hope India will at least draw the series. And you must be joking to have Uthappa in the test squad. We could have had RP Singh.

Without Harbhajan this will be boring tour :p.

But seriously lack of quality openors will hit against Australias pace attack. Also bowling attack is very inexperienced and thin now with both Bhajji and Kumble out. With so many Lefties in Australian squad Bhajji would have been useful.

Wow. India are right up against it. I don't think that squad is anywhere near strong enough. Hopefully they will be able to rise to the challenge, but I see Australia winning this 3-0 :(

Great work mate, top quality presentation

Pragyan Ojha also finds himself back in the fold.

YES thats what i like to see no more effiegies for me

India will win due to your amazing leadership

Bowlers 'a concern'

Queensland v India, 3 day match, Brisbane

zaheerkhan16.jpg

The Indian bowlers, especially seamer Zaheer Khan, have been described as 'a concern' by coach Lee Payne after the tour match with Queensland at the Gabba, ahead of the first Test against Australia.

Batting first, India posted 458/5 declare, largely thanks to comeback king Sourav Ganguly with 147 not out, 103 from Gautam Gambhir and an unbeaten 73 from captain Mahendra Dhoni.

A commentator on local radio said Zaheer Khan 'couldn't hit a barn door with his bowling' as he took 1/51 from nearly 13 overs. Sreesanth's 4/38 helped bowl the home side out for 231.

Following on, Queensland made 292 with Khan this time taking 4/88, but he did go for a few runs in 18 overs.

India reached 66/3 and won the game by 7 wickets.

A good win there, but it is to be expected. I wouldn't worry about your bowlers too much. They will do well when it matters.

Great work mate, this story is very good :)

Tendulkar shines in drawn first test

Australia v India, 1st test, Perth

wbtendulkar_narrowweb__200x305.jpg

India were competitive throughout as they drew the first test against Australia.

The opening batsmen, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, failed as they only faced 11 balls between them and scored the same amount of runs.

A patient 58 from Rahul Dravid took him 118 balls to get the tourists back on track.

Legend Sachin Tendulkar made a sublime unbeaten 208 off 420 balls.

Sourav Ganguly scored only 14 in his comeback test.

VVS Laxman added 51 as India were bowled out for 436.

There were fifties for opening batsman Chris Rogers and Michael Hussey, but his brother David did even better with his first test century.

Ishant Sharma took 5/66 with Australia all out for 381.

The away team then played it safe and put the game beyond doubt with 313/4 declared, Tendulkar with 88 not out and VVS Laxman with an unbeaten 125.

The home side were 82/0 when the umpires called time.

That was superb batting by Sachin. Great bowling by Ishant too. The match wasn't going anywhere after that slow inning by Sachin although it was a great one.

Nice presentation:) KUTGW:happy

Rain ruins second test

Australia v India, 2nd test, Sydney

The second test between Australia and India ended in a rain effected draw in Sydney.

The home team were all out for 351 in 83 overs in their first innings, the top scorer was wicket keeper Adam Gilchrist with 70.

The tourists scored 517/6 declared, with 171 from Gautam Gambhir and 124 not out from Sachin Tendulkar.

Australia were 26/0 in their second innings when the match was abandoned as a draw because of the amount of rain.

The series is level at 0-0 going into the final test in Melbourne.
