Rain forced the third and final test between Australia and India to end in a draw and the series tied at 0-0.

In a stop-start innings, India were bowled out for just 230 in 67.4 overs, the top scorer being opening batsman Gautam Gambhir with 84. Fast bowler Stuart Clark took figures of 6/55.

Now that was a really bad series, ending in a draw! Maybe the ODI series will be interesting!

Nice presentation! KUTGW!

This ElNino has not spared the Cricket Stories as well. I was hoping for tight contest but rains have deprived readers off good contest.

Looking for ODI series now.

India came 3rd in the Commonwealth Bank Series and just missed out on a place in the finals. Australia won the tournament. Sorry, I won't be covering it.

I was between a rock and a hard place today. We (India) had won the 3rd Test against the West Indies to finish with a 1-1 draw. This isn't bad on the pitches there are here. The two pitches in Kolkata and the one here in Mumbai have been minefields! I am used to hearing about dead subcontinental wickets. We had only won by 3 wickets, and chasing only 179 to win, that isn't too good.

Wasim Jaffer will have to go

Some of the batsmen need to get their acts together, 261 all out in the first innings with a top score of 82, in the second innings, 179/7! The top score 55.

I was quite pleased with the bowlers though, mad dog Sreesanth with 6/69 in the first innings and then Anil [Kumble] with 5/19 in the second. We do have a habit of letting partnerships develop though.

Anil took 5/19 in the second innings - legend!

Now for the big news - I have applied to coach Northamptonshire. I know it's strange to quit international management for a little county, but they impressed me when we played them last year and, hey, they are without a coach at the moment! I'm not holding my breath on landing the job however. I will probably still be on the place to Sri Lanka for our tour there in a few months.

Lets get Jhon Buchanan.

I'll hate if u go.

Payne to stay on as India coach

Weeks of speculation have been laid to rest by Northamptonshire appointing Shahbaz Sharath as their coach. The man in the hot seat of the Indian national team, Lee Payne, had reportedly put his name forward.
