A new Horrible Histories book is out now- Loathsome London by Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown. It tells you the history of London from the 'Romans to the Blitz' in a humorous way, using jokes, easy to read text and cartoons for easy understanding. These books were a bit after my time. I never got to read them when I was young. That said I would say they're more aimed at Primary School kids than teenagers.
