Lord of the Rings Mafia - Town wins

As he entered the man's room, he saw him on his last breath, a victim of his own arts.

This is very, very interesting. Since he was poisoned I assumed the "wise old man" was Gandalf, but if poison wasn't one of Gandalf's "arts".

Saruman anyone? Care to answer barmyarmy?

Nice that we didn't lose anyone tonight. Seems Colin was healed and mafia missed a kill. That's interesting. It says someone 'vanished'. Now, what would that mean? Did the target know what was happening? Or, some sort of a role...

What Spoobir points out is interesting, but would Saruman be termed as 'wise' old man?

Also, yes I'm Sam. What's the big deal there?

----------

Also, someone care to explain the first paragraph please. I don't get a thing. Also, it seems it is linked with last night writeup.

I already said, the third bit is Frodo using the ring to hide.

Yes he would.

So it wasn't you that healed him?

----------

That is para #3, I was talking about #2. 3 is definitely Samwise.

Nope, nope, nope.

Para #2 is Sam.
Para #3 is Frodo.

The fat little person
The fat young man

Why not use 'halfling' or 'shirefolk' to explicitly show it's a hobbit? Ok it shows in the last bit that Frodo's disappeared, ergo referencing Sam, but can't you entertain the idea that 'fat little person' might be a dwarf?

Except Gimli was exclusively a warrior so it makes no sense for him to be healing someone. Personally I feel Aragorn or Elrond would have made a much more likely poison doctor but since neither of them is small or fat it's got to be Sam.

Of course, I healed Colin. I got one shot healing power. It said (PM I received during night 2), 'You being the best friend of Frodo now have the opportunity to heal one person. After that, you become, the vanilla townie as earlier.'

Hence, I sort of kept asking whether a person might know it or not. Well, Saruman is a bad guy, isn't it? So, how would term 'wise' go along with him? Also, Trev too mentioned that it was pretty easy for Colin. So, maybe Colin is actually a town and not playing bluff. He was the one to suspect MaD too, very early.

Again, I don't have any real knowledge, so not really sure. But, the victim of his own arts is interesting thing...

He could be described as wise because he is a wizard, I believe? He and Gandalf had a massive fight in one of the films.

Also, I'll accept the defeat on the point I was trying to make.

Well, well, Colin's bluffing it then, maybe? But, I'm hell confused still. Mainly cause of Trev's post. But, then again, Colin was desperate, it seemed. And, the writeup now means there is something wrong.

At the moment, I'm suspicious of Zohaib and Culli. Zohaib for the reasons I was mentioning before, and Culli because he hasn't added any discussion on the past few days, and was very happy to lynch Yudi yesterday.

FOS: Zohaib, Culli

I'd like both of you's thoughts on that last night's action and who you feel in particular to be suspicious.

I've no qualms with what happened last night; Mafia missed their opportunity to kill & we've saved the poisoned one so it seems.

FOS: User2010

Very quick to claim he cured Colin & I'd like to see if anyone counters this claim.

No kill made in the night is the best thing we can have. I'll give my views on the writeup.

Night 2

He seeked the little hobbit. The one who had been caught stealing the previous night. Quite surprisingly, he wasn't doing anything notorious today, which made it all the more easier for him to use his god given gift against the young man. The hobbit really didn't stand a chance.

The hobbit really didn't stand a chance. He wasn't doing anything notorious. Is it roleblock? But then this guy was roleblocked last night as well. Is that 'he who seeked' the same guy who was there last night?

The fat little person went about searching for the wise old man who had not been seen much during the day. The reason put out was weakness. As he entered the man's room, he saw him on his last breath, a victim of his own arts. The fat person quickly gave him the antidote and saved him from his death.
------

A victim on his own arts. Perhaps it is someone the old man created or something? Was this Saruman created by Gandalf?

Barmy being saved is a big relief.

Meanwhile, the fat young man's friend felt that something was going to happen tonight. In one swift movement of his hands, he vanished. Minutes later, the Dark Lord appeared in the room and left it cursing for a precious night had been wasted.
It is now Day 3. With 16 alive, it takes 9 to lynch.

This is the kill missing? I'll believe what others said - Frodo used the ring to hide. But why would mafia target Bevab..? (no offense) Trying to confuse us? Or Bevab isn't Frodo?

FOS : Hedger, Culli

Hedger's playing under the radar it seems. Exclaiming that he didn't even know MaD is dead can be a trick. Culli, he has been trying to divert the game, and trying to shrug off any allegations in a very light tone, without justifying himself.

:clap

I think either Culli has lost it or he's, as Varun said, trying to divert the attention.

For the moment,

Lynch : Culli.

Though, I was suspicious of Spoobir earlier but he has given town vibes as of now and now I'm also suspicious of Colin unless Saruman was created by Gandalf...
