Lord of the Rings Mafia - Town wins

Freudian slip? By "you guys" you mean the town rather than the mafia.

Err nope, by "you guys" I meant the people who lynched Yudi. Of which at least some, I suspect, are mafia.

I notice you said yesterday you possibly believed his claim but then didn't unlynch.

So are you officially claiming Gandalf then?

Being The Dark Lord?s right hand man meant he was instructed to take out the biggest threat to Mordor and their attempt to rule Middle Earth. He had not slept, thinking of a way to disguise his attack on an equally clever opponent. He created a potion that would do the job and, when his target was distracted, slipped it into his goblet.

All he had to do now was wait and let it take effect.

This is the passage in night 1 where barmy gets poisoned, it doesn't hint at all that he did it to himself but I can't get that "his own arts" out my head. They can't have put it in there for no reason.

----------

Although it could be argued the Saruman was the greatest threat to Mordor as he had his own army of orcs and was trying to find the Ring for himself. But as usual, Gandalf could also be the greatest threat.

That passage definitely labels me the "the biggest threat to Mordor".
Like I said I don't blame people for being suspicious - I'm quite annoyed with the write-up to be honest :p

----------

The Dark Lord's right hand man is Saruman. Doesn't really add up to a self-poisoning.

But Saruman's whole plan was to betray Sauron once he was powerful enough and had the Ring. I would say the Witch King was more of a right-hand man than Saruman, plus he used a poison blade on Frodo so that kind of makes sense.

I don't think you poisoned yourself, at the moment I think it's possible the mafia thought you were being a bit too helpful townie and poisoned you. However I'm not sure you are town after all...

----------

Anyway let's talk about Culli posting a huge Eye of Saruon shall we?

Joke post or..?

Awesome that we didn't lose a townie on night 2. I was busy the whole day today, I'd read the night 2 update tomorrow and post about the members who I'm suspicious of! :)

I am also not sure whether he is joking

He might be joking, as they were talking about Sauron when analysing the write up and he probably felt like adding a pic, I dont know

Looks scummy to me

FOS : Culli

I will post my thoughts on the write up tomorrow really tired now

It's a massive red herring. He's obviously not an idiot and may well be mafia but posting the pic has nothing to do with it.

Night 2

He seeked the little hobbit. The one who had been caught stealing the previous night. Quite surprisingly, he wasn't doing anything notorious today, which made it all the more easier for him to use his god given gift against the young man. The hobbit really didn't stand a chance.
------

Well My knowledge of LOTR is that great but I think this is the cop investigating someone, not to sure

By little hobbit it could be that creepy scrawny guy, dont know what his name is though

The fat little person went about searching for the wise old man who had not been seen much during the day. The reason put out was weakness. As he entered the man's room, he saw him on his last breath, a victim of his own arts. The fat person quickly gave him the antidote and saved him from his death.
------

The fat man is definitely Sam, since User2010 did mention, he saved Barmy

And this leaves Barmy to be the Wise Old Man

Cant remember his name but he has a white beard

Meanwhile, the fat young man's friend felt that something was going to happen tonight. In one swift movement of his hands, he vanished. Minutes later, the Dark Lord appeared in the room and left it cursing for a precious night had been wasted.

The Fat Young mans friend is definitely Frodo, not sure how he got away from the Dark Lord

He either had used the ring or he was saved by the doc.

One of you guys asked :
Why Would the Mafia go after Bevab?

Well it looks like the Mafia's are pretty experienced players because from my past games, the experienced players always get rid of the Inactive players to make the game better

The mafia's will be killing 2 birds with one stone here
Firstly, getting rid of a power role
Secondly, They will get rid of a inactive player

Those are my thoughts, yours may differ

You all are taking the "victim of his own arts" line wayyyyyyyyy out of context. Last thing I'm gonna say on this issue, since everyone was annoyed at me writing that line.
