LVCC | Grand Finale | Day Five | Our Champions!

Who posted the lineup :/

what you never informed me :/

Actually co-managers have equal power. It depends on how you both co-ordinate. Maybe there might be some mis-communtication since this is your first round, but don't worry. :)

I don't have a problem with him since i was the one who told you to get a co but you could have informed me :)

I played a huge batting line-up but we still got out for 174! don't know what the hell's wrong with the so called #1 batsman Ab De Villiers. :facepalm Stokes got a ton whereas ABD couldn't get it's half! :( Very poor batting. :facepalm

We can't just ride on a few big scores. Everyone has to chip in for the side just like the opposition did against us. What a bad run this is turning out to be.

I'll inform you from next time. I thought you'd already had seen the lineup because of this post

Round 4-You said you were going with the best possible lineup right

My VM to YOU-Sean Ervine in for Zander was the only change in our XI so i was doing fine with these crap sets of players

Mid Season Review

Birmingham Bucks

The Brummies started their campaign with a bank, with two huge wins, but then they derailed, and are now on a three match losing streak. Joe Root and Darren Stevens have been excellent with the bat. Michael Lumb and Jonny Bairstow have been off color, so @El Loco might want to bring new players in for them. A three man spin attack hasn't worked for them, and Dale Steyn and James Anderson are out of touch. They need their bowlers to be more consistent if they want to go all the way.

Dale Steyn hasn't been at his best for Birmingham

Durham Dynamos

A very good side which is under-performing. Ian Bell has been at his best throughout the season, and other batsmen have chipped in well too. Vernon Philander has led their attack with some real venom, but hasn't got much support from the local bowlers. Ryan Harris has been decent, but isn't playing to his potential. Captain Jim Allenby has struggled to hold the middle order as well.

Ian Bell is leading the run-scorers list by a country mile.

London Scorpions

London have been the most clinical, and complete side thus far, winning four of five games. Each of their players have done well and contributed in one form or the other. Injuries pushed Scott Borthwick and Boyd Rankin out of the team, but their replacement have done really well. The only poor performer has been Tim Ambrose, who has done nothing with the bat thus far.

Players like James Anyon have heavily benefited from the injuries.

Manchester Thunder

Manchester have been the complete opposite of Birmingham, they had a horrible start, losing two games, but are on a three game winning streak. Moeen Ali and Kumar Sangakkara have been brilliant and Hashim Amla has done well after being left out. Alastair Cook is slowly getting in his groove . Manchester's pace quartet have done really well. Simon Kerrigan has done well to contain the batsmen, but not dismiss them.

Alastair Cook and Manchester have only improved as the season progressed.

Nottingham Outlaws

They have been sub-par till now. They have never got off to a good start as Prince and Kieswetter have failed time and again, and their middle order has been fragile as well. Only AB de Villiers and Gary Ballance have averages above 30 in the top six. Bowling wise they have been much better with Morne Morkel and George Dockrell leading the bowling charts. Stuart Broad has struggled though. Zander de Bruyn has done really well, with both bat and ball.

AB de Villiers is yet to play the huge innings that Nottingham need.

Southampton Sharks

Southampton have done well to never be on the wrong side of a one sided game, but have been quite inconsistent. All their batsmen and bowlers have done quite well, with no one performing miserably. One big surprise has been Ryan ten Doeschate's performance with the ball, as he leads the wicket taking chart for Southampton.
