Hitterman, what has original OS got to do with it? Nothing.

Neo95, just download Windows Installer 3.1 from Microsoft's website, or search google for a Windows Installer 3.1 download. You would get a somewhat 3 mb file. Install it and you're ready to go.

Installer 3.1 is automatically installed on your os by windows update so why we have to install it manually dude :

Because some don't enable Windows Update.

Keep rolling eyes while I tell you that not everyone uses Windows Update and does it daily or weekly.

Can anyone tell me the difference between learning C++ and Visual C++?:confused:.And is there any alternative of learning C++ than a text editor,compiler,debugger

C++ is a programming language and Visual C++ is an Integrated Development Environment i.e. a combination of compiler, debugger, source code editor etc.

I was pointing out the difference between C++ and Visual C++. How can I mislead him to believe that Visual C++ is a programming language? He can use a different IDE to write C++ code, in case he doesn't like Visual C++.
