Making editors for cricket games

I was pointing out the difference between C++ and Visual C++. How can I mislead him to believe that Visual C++ is a programming language? He can use a different IDE to write C++ code, in case he doesn't like Visual C++.
I know. I had a smiley on it that somehow didn't appear. I've edited now anyways. Heck what difference a smiley can make. :p

Starting an FTP session is damn easy, isn't it? And I think JAVA isn't much good unless you want to make web applications (even then ASP.NET is better). C# owns JAVA as JAVA doesn't have a good API.

Well looks like the government have to revamp India's computer education:p

Neo95 added 6 Minutes and 59 Seconds later...

The Internet has a taught me a lot more than my textbooks.

Since the board's results are out, I'm taking Computer Science and eagerly awaiting my text book. I just want to make sure that I'm not already ahead of it, or else I'll be bored in the classes. :p

What do you mean by "I'm taking Computer Science".Please elaborate it.I dont have much knowledge of the CBSE board exams.

I don't know where you study, but I haven't heard of people getting the option to chose a programming language within Computer Science, which, I believe, is an optional subject in most of Indian states. We had both C++, Visual Basic in the first year and C++, HTML and 8085 microprocessor programming in the second year. Except for the microprocessor programming, its not too challenging. I found it easy as I was already familiar with the 80x86 assembly language. To me it was an easy way to score 200 marks. In fact, I was busy working on BLIC demo expander a night before the final exam.

Glad to know it would help me too. :p

You were following CBSE weren't you?

Nope. Your syllabus will be different but it should still include most of the things that I mentioned.
