This january will be dominated by the baby blues as every second transfer rumour seems to be linked to City

Who do you think will actually make the move to help them become more than drop zone fodder?

This best rumour ive seen yet was with David Villa, Valencia need money and he wants to move.. I think they will get a big star as well but it wont come without a cost

Yeah,Man City seems to be the richest club now in the league.
Hope atleast this helps them to peak in the league.
I hope Arshavin will be bought.Arsenal too are in line for him.Not sure who will buy though.

I also feel the russian might sneak under the radar but Santa Cruz seems definate

Well according to City fans they've already got Torres, Ronaldo, Arshavin, Villa, Buffon, Lescott, Santa Cruz and they've even signed Patrice Evra it seems. So they'll be quite some opposition come February.

But of course, City won't get any of the above because not everyone is a cocky little money grubbing twat like Robinho who only signed for City because he thought they were United. City are an absolute joke of a club.

If they buy all of them above, then they would be the best club team on paper. Not sure about their chemistry though.
However It will be very difficult to buy all of them.My recommendation to them is to buy Buffon first. He's class.

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooosh.;)

They're bringing Pelé out of retirement to play in a Blue shirt I hear.

Last thing I herd was they were eyeing up signing JJ3!

In all seriousness though, the transfer gossip section on bbcsport.co.uk sums up how pathetic City are really. On one line it says 'City were ready to bid £50 million for David Villa but he said he wants to play for CL club' and then below that it says 'But City are instead going to bid £6 million for West Ham's Craig Bellamy'. Lmao, what a joke.

Man City! Whoooo!!

Hope on the train now, to avoid being called a glory-hunter later!

:p

Nah, seriously, they are associated with UAE, so yea, I'm gonna support them!

I guess Man City will have the same problem I have when I edit the Football Manager database!
All the money but nobody you really want will sign because you have no reputation, maybe they'll have to settle for second/third choice players for a season (possibly they'll get 1 top target) get themselves out of the mess they are in and then spend next time around.

I think the strategy should be sign upcoming talent. Players who are not exactly established pros, but have the ability and talent to develop into that. Similar to Arsenal somewhat. Like Nash said, having a good chemistry is also important so Hughes or whoever should look at buying players who will be able to play with one another.

Thing is that is not what the owners think. The billionares want them to win the title by the end of next season or something like that. So to them they want the best talent not upcoming talent.
