Viv Richards hit a big hundred to take the Qalandars to an above-par total at the Gaddafi Stadium. Javed Miandad played his part once again with a quick half-century. Walsh and Lee took 3 wickets each for KKR, but were on the expensive side.

Don Bradman displayed all his class in a magnificent knock of 112, with a strike rate over 100. Unfortunately for KKR, no one else except Brian Lara crossed 40. They fell 35 runs short. Wasim Akram bagged 3 wickets, but he was very expensive, having suffered Lara's wrath at the start of the innings, whose promising innings was cut short by his countryman who was making his debut, Michael Holding.

Spectacular performance by the team. We needed that innings by Sir Viv. Good to see Stewart getting some runs as well. Bowling against a batting line-up that consists of players such as Don Bradman is no joke either. Very convincing victory
