Oh btw in those points table.. There is bonus points too. Score more then 175 get 1 point and take 10 wickets get 1 point

Played Round 5 of USPL. NYC Dragons taking on Orlando Bulls. Bulls are on second position and this being the business end of tournament every win matters. Dragons won the toss and elected to bowl first. Once again Aaron Finch's poor run of form continued as he was out on his 3rd first ball duck out of 5 matches. Tim Allen and Ganesh put on a decent fight to take NYC Dragons on 162 runs. When Orlando came out to bat it seemed a different set of pitch was laid out. They were struggling a lot as they lost plenty of wickets for very little runs. In the end NYC Dragons won by a massive 77 runs an got ahead of Orlando on points table. Tim Allen was adjudged MOTM & this crushing victory would really help boost their NRR.

Lunch time on day 3 of the first test match.

Just as a reminder, India (AI) scored an insane 558-3 before they declared.

West Indies (Me) have patiently batted up until this point, not taking any risks. Currently sitting on 152-1, with Gayle on 65*(97), and Bravo on 38*(51).

The outfield has strangely been very quick. If the ball is headed for a gap, it just keeps going. Quite pleased to see this, as usually it slows down before the boundary.

India still has a lead of 406 runs, and a draw continues to be the aim for this match. I do not believe time would allow us to pull a win out from this one.

What would be interesting is, if you got past the follow-on mark and declared, what would India do?

Where would I be able to see what the follow-on mark is? Will give it a go. They might decide to go big quick, and declare. That would be very interesting indeed.

If it's a test match, it should be 200. So from 199 less than what they score you should have avoided the follow on - 359 would be the score for you. You can check this by going into the match type in the academy, to be safe.

It would also be the only way I could see you forcing a win: get <200 less than them, hopefully they try to score quick and you dismiss them cheaply, and you have time to get a <350 target on the last day.

I already uploaded this in the DBC Hack thread but as not all can get there wanted to post it here too. Just wanted to show the beauty of this game: the joy is in the details, especially the last half minute or so. Really great stuff that BA has come up with: sorry for the crap editing! The song is Matthew and Jill Barber's cover of Niel Young's "Comes a Time"

Hey @Dutch you again made the video private :-P, you need to make it public for us to see[DOUBLEPOST=1463491206][/DOUBLEPOST]@blockerdave you just beat me by milisecond

brilliant. really intriguing to find out.

what point/day was it when you declared?

It was after tea time (Day 3). We are in the 4th day at the moment....

They started out solid again, until this happened (Video below)

I HAD to save and exit, and upload this. Never seen it before, as the keeper usually messes up by picking up the ball......But yeah, batsman missed the ball, and it bounced off his inside arm, down to his calve, and bounced from the calve on to the wickets.

Never would have thought that BA would actually put something in place that the backside of the leg would also change the direction of the ball. BRILLIANT.

Anyway, after this wicket fell, it was about 2 overs, and the other opening batsman lost his wicket to a catch in the field.

India are on 91-2 (Lead by 290 runs) before lunch on day 4.

i guess there's still plenty of time in the match, so they can bat calmly.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a scenario editor in DBC17. How cool it could be to set up a similar scenario and see what results we can get.

Yeah, they can take their time. But if they want to make sure of a win, they need to score big quick, and try to get all my wickets. I'm still aiming for a draw on this one.lol
