Match,Tour & Competition Experiences

One time I had this match to light candles on a cake but I held it too long and I burnt myself on the finger.

Difficulty: easy if you're not paying attention
Match type: Red Heads

@ethybubs Well you were asking for trouble...redheads are too hot to handle.....

Just had one off the best T20 matches it was Pakistan vs Australia at the MCG, Aus won the toss and batted first on a green top, Mohammed Irfan got rid off Finch and Warner early Aus were 8/2 and then a big partnership between Watson and Maxwell which lasted into the 16th over, during that time I noticed the AI would take singles and doubles and hit any bad ball for 4 or 6 this is on Pro difficulty... Aus ended up with 172/4 with Ajmal taking 2 wickets off Watson and Bailey.

Pak batting started horribly with Shehzad and Akmal gone in the first over both edged to keeper, Pak was 3/2, then a p'ship between Hafeez and Umar and got pak to 120/2 and then some quick wickets by Doherty/Maxwell!! Spin is a biaatch lol!! Pak were 134/6, we needed 40 odd from 4 overs Afridi and Bhatti played a blinder

Last over we needed 24 from 6, Afridi on strike first three balls were 3 sixes off Johnson, 6 off 3, game going to the wire, afridi takes the single leaving 5 off 2, bhatti takes a quick single, needing 4 from 1, last ball Afridi smashed a 4!! What a awesome match!! PC version runs amazing on my system!! Thanks Big Ant for a awesome game..:thumbs:thumbs

I managed 219 from 42 overs on Amateur difficulty in my Pro50 tournament which wasn't too bad considering I was 28/3 after 10 overs. I made 77 from 68 with one batsmen, I felt like a world beater...then I got out :facepalm

How much do you get on Legend level??

Legend!? I wouldn't dare try batting on Legendary!

I played on Pro before Amateur and I found batting easy to start off with but then it just suddenly got really hard and I was struggling to post anything over 200 in a 50 over game.

...Anyway, I chased down those 219 runs inside 33 overs and I managed to score my first century in about a month :)

Hitting 6's on Amateur (especially against the spinners) is incredibly easy though...

I was following a schedule that I generated online and was playing match in casual mode. In casual mode you can have AI vs AI but in competitions you cannot

I am playing a casual test on Pro level with the Ashes 2005 sides. In an echo of Edgbaston 2005, Ricky Ponting (AI) won the toss and put England (me) in.

I proceeded to cart them to all parts, racking up 459 in just 54 overs. Trescothick scored 225, but though several other batsmen got starts none of them passed 50.

Am now 52 overs into bowling their innings, have got them 202/5. Not a hint of any edges, sadly, but have got a couple of wickets bowling to a plan of giving them plenty short balls and having square gully, fly slip etc.

Several videos of it in the game play thread, and on my youtube channel.

Just bumped my difficulty to Veteran level and decided to take it easy and started a test as ENG against Zim.
I have never enjoyed playing out a test so much, even though im struggling, blocking and grinding it out never felt so rewarding in a cricket game.Veteran level really takes the game to a new level, less boundaries and more accurate foot work, also have a lot more play and misses.

Good long waiting innings by Bell there....

Were your shots going in the air too much or you found that to be fine??

it was going in the air a bit with drives at times, but playing with placements and timing was able to avoid the fielders mostly, sometimes by just.

I feel that if the batting is reverted back as it was before patch and with the changes to the game with Patch#2 made will be perfect,I dont know why they tweaked with that....

Leg side shots (flicks & glances) not going in the air was a nice fix. Now all they need to do is fix cut & pull shots and are golden.
