IT'S over. Australian opening batsman Matthew Hayden has decided to draw the curtain on his outstanding international cricket career.

Courier-Mail is owned by News Corp (who also own Sky) and provides news from Brisbane (his home state). I think this might well be true.

It hasnt been on the "credible sources" because he hasnt officially announced it yet. CourierMail is the leadiding news source in his home state and would be one of the first newspapers to receive it as they have many local sources.
