And yeah, use a Cessna. Very easy to master, not so many controls that you have to look at. The Bombardier Learjet, I find is the easiest jet to use, well for me anyway. Now to go try FSP again.

Edit: Sorry, the auto post update thing isn't really working at the moment so didn't see your post. You should just get the full version. I got mine on special (50% off) :p

in that case ignore the speed settings, the Baron will stall at 55 knots, approach speed is about 80 knots with full flaps.

lol, i was about to begin the landing procedures and my flight time expired :facepalm i'll wait till i get the full version.

Just made my first FSPassengers flight from Amsterdam to Rotterdam in some really bad weather (loaded RL weather). It was pretty great, finally got the altitude hold switch working well but the heading was tweaked up, as it went way to the right when I had it on so I ended up just turning it off and the plane generally went further in the right direction.

Bloody hell. Went from Rotterdam to London and was pretty much there, ready for a pretty easy landing, heading straight at the runway still a fair way away so I had easy time to approach and land but when I went to change the simulation rate back to normal speed, the game stopped responding and quit.

Yea that happens every once in a while, how you liking FSpassengers though? try to set the failure levels to 100% for a flight and see how you handle it. It's good fund.

Also if you go to the fSpassengers site, thre are all kinds of addon, audio files and goodies for free!

yeah, it's good. I have the failures at 10%. I've only handled one engine failure so after a while I might put it up. I just don't want to have a failure every flight. I am now going to restart my flight from Rotterdam to London.

And anyone know how to get the Heading autopilot thing working. When I turn it off, they always go way to the right, so I just don't worry about it and hope that I don't go too off track and then I alter my course every so often.

Use the dial on the heading indicator to move the Orange marker to the heading you want to fly, then just click the Heading button on the auto pilot and it's set. Make sure to have the autopilot master switch on.

If you figured out how to set altitude then this should be easy.

Anyway, just finished my flight to Heathrow. Annoyed that I forgot to set flaps for takeoff which cost me a lot of points but a good flight apart from that. Landed on the wrong runway (wrong side of runway) but I didn't care. It said enter left downwind and since there was no wind, I assumed it meant enter to the left but I guess not.

Better flight this time during the night going from Heathrow to Edinburgh. Now I need somewhere else to go. Thinking a flight to Glasgow.

Made another 2 short flight from Edinburgh over to Belfast in Northern Ireland before making a real short flight over to Aldergrove also in Belfast. I changed the failure rate to 100% so hopefully I would get promoted but I never had any failure on both flights. It said something about settings when setting up the company overriding it so I'm not sure whether that would stop the failures from happening.

That happens sometimes because FSpassengers does not know when your flight is going to end. If you set a destination, then it will happen for sure. Also keep an eye on fuel levels and oil pressure, cause sometimes the failures are minimal and hard to spot. If you catch the oil pressure early enough, you will be able to land the plane before an engine flameout. Also don't forget to declare an emergency before landing!

Nah, I've always been setting a destination so it's not that. btw, is there anyway to set the GPS to a certain airport since I pretty much have to quit out of the flight, set a new destination so the GPS is set there and then set up the FSPassengers flight so I know exactly where to go, rather than if I just finish a flight so the GPS had been set from the starting airport to that airport and when I start another flight using FSPassengers, I set the destination but I don't have the directions on the GPS to get there. So anyway to have it so I can set the GPS while in game?

I don't know how to do it through the GPS, but once you land and end the FSpassengers flight, then don't quit out of the flight in FSX, just go to Flight Planner and plan a new flight, then it will show up in the GPS and you will still be on the ground at that airport.

You can also open up a flight while in air, this is great because I usually fly VFR from take off until about 150 miles from the airport, then I just open up an IFR plan and get vectored to the runway :) you can do this all while FSpassengers is running.

All you need for fspassenges is to be on the ground and have the parking brake set. The GPS and other FSX features work independently of FSpassengers.

----------

oh and the failures setting thing, sometimes you have to restart the game to get fspassengers to work. Anytime you change gameplay settings in fspassengers, i'd restart the game.
