Mirrir's Edge wont install

Spent so much bucks on this one only to find out it wont install on my Laptop. Should have bought PS3 version but what should I do?

Specs;
Windows Vista Home Premium SP1
Intel Core2Duo
NVidia 8400
2 GB RAM

Error: A DOS screen appears and closed immediately. Tried running it as administrator but no luck.

I think its Mirror's Edge,

ok it might not be supporting laptop chipset or something like that, can always ask on EA forums.Same happenned to me for COD WaW it just doesn't run inspite that my PC exceeds all the requirements.

He said its the 8400, so it has to work.

Update your nVidia drivers sid, Mirror's edge is a very new game and takes advantage of PhysX, which might be messing up in your case, because you have nVidia AND no physx.

Install the new drivers from Welcome to NVIDIA - World Leader in Visual Computing Technologies, after uninstalling the old ones.
