Misbah is a great player, and I am really happy he wasn't brought in the team earlier. He got time to play domestic cricket and made himself into a great batsman. If he was in the team earlier, he was surely going to be a bad player by now.

He has a full time job at a bank and has a Business Degree, that shows that the board doesn't pay it's players well enough.

It is the trickiness of professionalism. Even if he has a good wage for ten years in international cricket, it does not necessarily count towards the many tens of years after cricket. One would not expect that as a 40 year old retiree he could simply walk into a bank and ask for a job.

We can't judge him yet as he has just plated against Zimbabwe. We will have to wait and watch him play against better teams.
