Mitchell Johnson keen to open the batting

Haha....wait, did you just call me Tasmanian?

We should probably stop spamming all the threads. We'll get 'Jaked'

Yeah, you can talk.

Yeah, was just browsing all the threads, and I've got like the five most recent posts in about four sections.
:doh

Johnson hasn't even been that bad with the bat this series. Two not outs and a 21 which included 16 runs off one Harby over when the match was well and truely over.

Yeah, he is definitely under rated with the bat in LOI, he doesn't get much time to bat and therefore not much time to score runs....

Why not, that'd be a lethal top 3. Warner, Watson and Johnson, plus throw Hughes into the mix....

Given how we still seem to be treating T20 as a fun format, we may as well see what Johnson can do.

:facepalm Every 1/10 maybe, the other nine times it would result in 2/for not many.

You seem to under rate Mitch, we'll see how your bowlers get treated when Aus take on NZ. :p

I don't underrate Johnson, I think he's a talented enough batsmen. But a top order consisting of Warner, Johnson and Watson would be highly inconsistant.

I fully expect him to kill us when Australia tour New Zealand next year though, we have a habit of letting the lower order score runs, just ask Glenn McGrath :p

Warner has been consistent in T20s, if it was an ODI order then you could expect the 2 down for nothing.

That's ridiculous. You're saying that they would for some reason they would almost definitely do better in an T20 than an ODI? I don't think it really matters with Warner or Johnson, they're gonna slog the ball whatever format, and if it comes it comes off.
