You can use wget with PowerShell (and indeed the Console on OS X or Linux) and download the browser of your choice from the command line.
And seriously - anyone still making "IE sucks" posts hasn't used it in a decade. It's a perfectly good browser - and in many aspects, better than the alternatives.
