MUN

Model United Nations? I attended a few trainings and orientations, got allotted a country, then decided against it. I know about it pretty well though.

I shall be going to some when I enter colleges.
As far as MUN's are concerned,I've heard about em a lot from my cousins. They say it's a brilliant event with a great atmosphere and you get to learn about a lot of things.

^Yes your cousins are absolutely correct it gives us great experience and there's a great feeling within us like we are the future delegates of the world. It almost feels like a real conference. You should enter a mun in the college level because you need to know the united nations charter as you could be assigned any country or committee.

must be awfully boring if you get given micronesia

there's a model UN thing at my uni and as a politics student it'd be pretty interesting, but it meets the same time as cricket practice, so I've never bothered

I've been to the Dhaka MUN recently in February. It was a great experience - though I didn't talk much it was really good to see how these things are done. Plus the host school was really nice and had a large campus so it was a pretty cool experience altogether. :)

Looking forward to going in the next December as well.

good luck :) :thumbs
