Ok,Ive been about a month into the game, and I reckon that my team is a lot better than it was initially,Im also reasonably safe in my league. But something with which Im struggling is finance.Ive made around 6 signings of around 0-30 K ranges and Im about 70K in the negative.Any ideas on how I can improve this again? Please bear in mind that I cant increase the capacity of my ground as that would cost me even more money.

EDIT:Also bear in mind that Im not willing to sell any of my major players as Ive the belief that they can get better and better, and my other players are too crap for anyone to be buying them.

Buy a couple of Financial Advisors so that you don't lose more money in interest. Your situation is not that bad. Just try not to lose any more money and gradually you'll make up with your ground receipts. Try to reduce staff costs as much as you can, even if it means reducing some of your traning staff.

On the first day in this game, last year, I increased my ground size to 21000 and was immediately ?200,000 in debt!! I felt like quitting the game as I was in a very sticky situation. But then, I got out of debt by selling 2 of my best players, and then gradually you get better. Once you get into a higher division and start having a decent team, managing the finances becomes easy. I make a ?70,000 profit over a two week period.

Basically, sit tight on what you have and wait for gate receips from home games to take you back into the black. Are you filling your ground for home matches? If so, as soon as you can afford it it's definately worth upgrading your stadium, as it will be your main source of income and a full stadium is preventing you making as much money as possible.

Ive followed Adarsh's advice. As for FF,how do I know if my home games are being filled up or not? I know that Ive got around 550 members but only 110 odd seats for the members.

Check your Stadium Capacity (Club > Ground), then pick your most recent home league match and check the attendance you had. Hopefully, it should be full.

I can get to Club->Ground,but how do I see my most recent home game. Also appointing a couple of financial advisors as suggested by Adarsh has sent my project balance at next update to -80K

Go to Club > Fixtures, click on your most recent home league match, it'll show you the scorecard on the left of the page and a box on the right will give you the attendance.

Figured it out. Here are the stats.

Last Friendly Game:Attendance:565

Last League Game:Attendance:3999

Ground Capacity:6620.

So its obviously not getting full. The opposition in both games are pretty poor though, poorer than my team.

Well, friendly games are never anywhere near full. I'd advise you to keep a close eye on attendances, and make your stadium bigger as soon as you need to, if you can afford it.

ok,I shall do that.My next 2 games are both home games so I should be getting something out of those.I'll just sit for a while without recruiting anyone and report back if my finance is improving or not.

How many financial advisors did you hire? Right, go to your finances section and see how much money you're losing due to interest, and don't hire more than's required. For example, if it's ?2000, don't hire 2 FA, as their wage is ?1500 each.

I'm not sure about this, hopefully Adarsh can confirm it for me, but you';re not gaining any interest due to being in the red. However, they well reduce the amount of interest you're losing - check your expenditure coloumn.

ok,hopefully these pictures should help you guys decide what exactly I need to do to get the money back in the positive asap.
