Atherton wrote a newspaper article a while back, I can't remember what paper her writes for. If you find that out, you can probably find it online somewhere. As for Hussain, he has often mentioned it on TV, although he has toned down in recent months and years. Largely due to an improvement within the establishment.

Seriously, if you have followed English cricket for the last 15-20 years and haven't even heard of rumours about the issue then there may be something wrong.

BTW, Id like to point out, I'm not simply talking about issues with player ethnicity within the England dressing room, there certainly doesn't seem to be any trouble in recent times but rather a problem with the cricketing establishment of selectors, managers and whatever bureaucrats the ECB has hired over the years.

Keeping on topic of feeling disengaged about the England team, does anyone else feel that all the criticism aimed at Cook is a bit unfair? The man has come back from one of the worst dips in form of his career and been very good against NZ. His captaincy has always needed a bit more colour but this isn't a new story, the ECB should have looked for a replacement earlier but what's the point of criticising it now that the Ashes are a month away?
