New format for Online Test matches

I'm interested, but still not clear on the rules.....

Yeah I downloaded the files but not clear with the rules.

Ok here is a summary of rules again. The match is played in chain format and there are slots defined for how much play you have depending upon the match stage. After your slot is over (by reaching run or wicket limit), you will have 5 over autoplay. then next person will continue the game.

Slots:
For wicket# 1 - 4 : 100 runs or 2 wickets (whichever is first)
For wicket# 5 - 8 : 75 runs or 2 wickets (whichever is first)
For wicket# 9 - 10: 50 runs or 2 wickets (whichever is first)
At the end of each slot 5 overs of autoplay is made.

So since I started the match, my slot was 100 runs or 2 wickets..I lost 2 wickets for 81 so my turn was over. As per rules, I made 5 over autoplay which took the score to 101/2. Next person will continue from this stage. Since there are 2 wickets lost he also has 100 runs/2 wickets limit. So he can bat till score reaches 201 or he loses 2 more wickets. The person after him will probably have 75 runs/2 wickets limit (depending upon wickets lost in autoplay). If you get to play when team has lost 8 wickets, youl have the last slot i.e. 50 runs/2wickets. There is 5 over autoplay after each slot. Same format is followed for all 4 innings.
Hope this is clear. B)

Yeah I get it now.But I can't chose whether I should play the challenge match instead. :velho:

Auwais,

This is just to try it out to see if new test format can be useful in future online test matches... so if you wanna give it a shot go for it..
