I've just got to to a few things first before phase one of the draft begins.

The official news from our camp is that the team name is going to be changed to Wellington True Falcons,WTF in short

Also,this being Stephen Fleming's final bow in the cricketing world,we'll leave no stone unturned to make sure that he leaves as a champion.
Having guided Canterbury to the championship win in season-1,he hasn't quite delivered in the 2 seasons that followed as a leader,especially in the SCCS final against Otago where he made a terrible decision to play an extra batsman on a good pitch.

This season is bound to attract a lot of public attention all over the world due to obvious reasons.

The two drafts will be run simultaneously, in two different phases.

It's all in alphabetical order, for easy navigation.
Player's in italics have represented New Zealand over the past year.
PT means that they're a part-time bowler.
One Season means the player will be retiring at the end of the season.​

International Player Draft

You may select most International Players, but there are a few exceptions:

1. They have to of played a minimum of 25 international matches.

2. In most cases the International Players have to currently be available for their countries, they normally can't of retired from international cricket. Except if they have retired from intentional cricket recently and have played international cricket in 2010, they are still available for selection.

3. You can only have a maximum of TWO International Players per country.

Draft Rules

* Please make sure you read when/if you are picking in each round, and how many players you are picking.

* I'll be pretty pissed off if someone miss picks, as I've written it all out clearly out above.

* Please also note, that the first round in phase two will have a vague order to it.

* You must wait until the round before is finished until the next round starts, unless I say over-wise.

* If you have not picked within a 24 hour period you will forfeit your pick, and the next round of drafting will resume as normal.

* You will also forfeit your pick, if you come online and fail to post anything in the thread.

* You may remake that pick when you next come online (Risking the loss of some better players), or make it along with your next pick.

* If you know you will not be coming on during a period of time, you can send me a PM with what sort of player/s you are looking for, and I will make your pick for you.

* If you are the last to pick in one round, you can immediately start the next round off.

* Once phase one is complete, please don't start phase two until I have told you to.

Player's Skill

Player's skills will be based on a variety of things:

* Player's Averages (All formats of the game)
* Recent Form
* International Experience
* My Perspective

Squad

Your squad will consist of 18 players, including:

* 10 New Zealanders
* 8 Internationals (Maximum of two per country)
* 2 Wicket-Keeper's (At least one Full-time)

What I recommend you have in your squad is:

Around six batsmen (A few part-time bowlers)
Two wicket-keepers (One full-time, and one part-time, or two full-time)
Around four all-rounders (mixture of pace and spin)
Around six bowlers (five pace, one spin)
Mixture of both New Zealanders and Internationals in each department

Pretty much it's a champions league for the PC leagues.
The top few NZPL teams will use their season three teams for a few games, versing other teams from WPL and APL etc.
