Hello everyone, and welcome to season four of the New Zealand Premier League!!!
This is only the second ever league in the history of Planetcricket to make it into season four, besides the great World Premier League.

There have been a couple of managerial changes:

Firstly Biggy has moved to Bay of Plenty, and called them the Bay of Plenty Vikings.
Secondly Aussie Team is the new owner of the Manawatu Monsters.

In the next few days time you will each receive a PM, this will tell you everything you need to know at the time when you receive it.
Is what I want you to know now is that when you receive that PM, it is very important that you read all of it and reply to it ASAP.

The purpose of this PM is for you to tell me what players you will be retaining for season four, as well as some other important information.
Incase you want to plan in advance, you will be able to retain up to six New Zealanders and five Internationals.

Yes I stuffed the format up, but I'll learn from that, and hopefully the new play-off structure will do the trick.

I have now received all the PM reply's, thank's guys for the haste in getting them in.
Now I need some time to process all the player's, and hopefully the draft will begin today or tomorrow.

There will be two phases to the draft, phase one will be getting everyone up to eleven player's, and phase two will be filling up the remaining seven spaces in each team.
Hence managers who chose to retain the maximum eleven player's, will not be involved in the draft till phase two.
