At least there never has been in either of the WPL auctions, or the EPL auction...

Like Chewie said the maximum bid in the domestic auction is $2,500,000, as you could buy one player for that, and five players for $100,000.
However I'm not sure why anyone would do that, and hopefully you're all sensible enough not to do so.
