I have done it to guarantee all the teams, at least two pretty good New Zealand players. They will just count as New Zealanders during the tournament, it's just a way of distributing them at the beginning.

Just to add a bit more,i think what you have in mind ATM is ideal and no changes need to be made to that really.
Contrary to what Bilal has said,i don't think there should be a total re-draft again.
I like this idea of retaining your 3 imports and 3 non IPL players.
You don't want all the players who did so well for your team to be playing for some other teams.
I'm sure most of the others feel the same too.

In a few minutes time I will put up a thread in the social group, for last season's owners to confirm the players that they want to keep for season two.
When all six of them have replied to that, the two new owners will start the draft off, before the remaining six owners join in.
Hence, I don't really have a time frame in mind, it more or less comes down to how active you guys are...

Incase you're wondering why you may not keep some of your season one New Zealand player's, it's because those player's will be re-distributed back over all the teams, including the two new ones.

The New Zealand IPL/ICL player's will pretty much be distributed on a first come first served basis.
The players will be split up into four pools (IPL A, IPL B, ICL A and ICL B), and you will have to choose one player from an IPL pool, one from an ICL pool, one from an A pool, and one from a B pool.

The actual draft will not be a total free for all, but there will also not be a direct order.
It will start off with the two new owners, and after a few rounds the remaining season one owners will join in.

Don't worry if you don't understand what I just said, I will release more details closer to the time.
