As I said before that's more or less your own fault, as you traded away Vettori...

After the full reshuffle three seasons ago you also had O'Brien, who you probably should have looked to retain at the end of season seven.

Small Transfer Window

* A small transfer window is now open. Please make sure you read ALL the rules.

* You can only make free agent trades.

* I highly recommend some teams do make trades. I've put this in place to close up the gap between the stronger teams and weaker teams, so make sure you use it.

* There are a handful of New Zealand players not currently contracted who have recent international experience, while there are also a handful of New Zealand players who haven't had any international players who are contracted, so I recommend some of you address this.

* You can trade New Zealanders for Internationals and vice versa, as long as you keep at least three of each of them in your 10 man squad at this stage.

* This small transfer window won't even be open for 24 hours, so make sure you make any trades you want to make ASAP.

* A normal regulation transfer window will be open after the actual draft.
